Hello Deacons!

 

I am Amaya Williams, and I’m running for Student Body President because I believe in the power of community and the importance of every student’s voice. I am committed to building a campus where all students feel heard, valued, and supported.

Over the past three years at Wake Forest and within Student Government, I’ve seen how much we can achieve when we work together to foster an environment of Grounded Leadership, Representation, Opportunity, and Wellness. These are the principles I will bring to the table as your next president, guiding us as we continue to grow and push for positive change.

As president, I will focus on empowering every student, ensuring that we have the resources, opportunities, and support we need to succeed not only in our studies but as individuals in a thriving community. Let’s create a Wake Forest where all students have the chance to truly thrive.
